Have you ever wondered about people’s opinions on the new P.E. tracks? There are two tracks for students to choose from, orange and blue. On the orange tracks students can expect more physical and competitive sports. On the other hand, the blue track is more laid back and focused on all around fitness.
With this new program, everyone has different opinions. Some students like the new system, while others wish it was the same as last year, even the P.E. teachers have an opinion on this. So, we decided to find people’s true opinions on the implementation of the tracks system.
Mrs. Holler, a Lincoln P.E. teacher, described why she likes this new system: “I am really enjoying seeing new students engaging that have not in the past because of the new tracks.” A 7th-grade student in the Orange Track, Averie Madison, says that if she could do anything about P.E, she would add more sports to the track.”
An 8th Grade student, Isabelle Wonders says she picked the blue track because “I felt like it matched my level of athleticism.” She also mentioned that it helps you focus on what you want to focus on and what you think would be best at”.
Pria Link, a 7th grader, added, “I think it’s important that we have a choice, because not all people like everything,”.
In conclusion, there are mixed reviews about the orange and blue tracks, but overall, we mostly heard positive feedback from teachers and students alike.
