Have you ever wondered what it is like to play on the Lincoln Middle School volleyball team? It is a great opportunity to make new friends and learn new skills while becoming more flexible. Today, we are going to take a deeper dive into Lincoln Middle School volleyball.
We interviewed three sixth-grade players on the Lincoln Middle School volleyball team: Madison Nash, Aubrey Yates, and Elsie Daniels. They all shared that they enjoy volleyball because they like making new friends and learning new skills.
When we interviewed Madison, we asked her why she likes volleyball. She said, “I like the sport in general, and I like getting to make new bonds with my teammates and make new friends.” This shows that an important part of being on a team is bonding with your teammates and building friendships.
Next, we interviewed Elsie, who has been playing volleyball for six years. She explained that when teammates have disagreements, they do not take their anger out on the court. Instead, they talk things through. When asked, “What do you do when you disagree with a teammate?” Elsie responded, “I usually just talk it out and try to find new solutions.” This shows that the players on the Lincoln Middle School team work together to solve problems respectfully.
Then, we interviewed Aubrey Yates. She shared that her favorite memory was when the team lost at regionals but still played very well. When asked, “What is your favorite memory?” Aubrey answered, “When we lost at regionals, but we still did really good.”
In conclusion, volleyball can be challenging at times, but it also gives students a chance to make new friends and have fun on the court. If you want to try a sport at Lincoln Middle School and are not sure which one to choose, you should definitely consider joining the volleyball team.
