I am interviewing Max Vivian for my article, A Day in the Life as a Soccer Player. Max is a star player for the 8th grade Lincoln Middle School soccer team. I am interviewing him for my article because I am curious about what a middle school soccer player does in a day.
Max’s position is midfield and wing, but most of the time he plays wing. Before a big game, Max likes to focus on what he is supposed to do in the game and relax. Max’s dad and his oldest brother got him into the sport. When he has a bad game, he tells himself, “I will get it next time.”
Before a game, Max likes to eat anything but spicy food because he doesn’t want to get sick before the game. Max’s favorite thing about soccer is dribbling the ball and scoring. At practice, Max’s team practices dribbling, scoring, endurance, and defense. After practice, he likes to go home and sleep. Max quoted, “If I mess up, I say to myself, ‘Try again.’”
In conclusion, Max’s love and dedication to soccer show up every time he touches the soccer field. He hopes to play next year in high school and then at the next level in college.
